As a dedicated venue for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022, the Yangshan Rock Climbing Center has a total investment of 225.8 million yuan and a construction area of 8,746.98 square meters. It is the only new project among the three Asian Games venues undertaken by Keqiao District of the Hangzhou Asian Games. The total investment is the largest and the construction difficulty is the most difficult.

The main structure of the venue adopts the world's advanced UHPC ultra-high performance concrete, which is more wear-resistant. After splicing, it highlights the cocoon-like crystal clear feeling of the Asian Games venue, and also reflects the concept of green, intelligent, frugal and civilized Asian Games.
